Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill Want You To Get Out and Vote

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are joining former fist lady Michelle Obama and other A-list celebrities in trying to get out the vote. Teaming up with WhenWeAllVote.org, the couple is part of a video aiming to get people registered for the upcoming elections.

Along with the country couple, Michelle, Tom Hanks, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Janelle Monáe and Houston Rockets’ Chris Paul bring awareness to the importance of voting in every election.

“Every community we visit, it’s important for them to know they can really make a difference if they go and vote in every election,” Faith says in the video.

The couple took to social media to share the video and the work of the organization.

“We make a difference in every single step along the path of our democracy. When we register and cast ballots we stand up for what we believe in,” Tim wrote in his post. “Faith and I are joining @WhenWeAllVote to remind Americans about the importance of registering and voting.”

Faith took to Instagram explaining the cause.

@whenweallvote is committed to registering all eligible voters and empowering them to make their voices heard in local, state, and federal elections. Register & volunteer at WhenWeAllVote.org.”

According to the organization’s website, volunteers across the country will give people an opportunity to register to vote through a partnership with Rock the Vote, and ensure people don’t fall through the cracks in the voter registration process.

Tim and Faith have dipped their toe in the political spectrum before, taking a stance on gun control and making a difference in our country.

“Look, I’m a bird hunter — I love to wing-shoot,” Tim told Billboard in a recent interview. “However, there is some common sense that’s necessary when it comes to gun control. They want to make it about the Second Amendment every time it’s brought up. It’s not about the Second Amendment.”

“It’s everyone’s responsibility, including the government and the National Rifle Association, to tell the truth. We all want a safe country,” added Faith.
