Tim McGraw is incredibly fit and obviously spends a lot of time in the gym. So it makes sense that his new business venture with his long time trainer is to open a series of gyms across the country featuring Tim certified workout regiments. If you’ve ever been jealous of his physique and are looking for a 24-7 gym, McGraw’s TRU MAV Signature Club might be just what you are looking for.
McGraw is partnering with Snap Fitness and his longtime fitness coach Roger Yuan to create his signature clubs. “Excited to announce that I’ll be partnering with @snapfitness to create a line of TRU MAV Fitness signature clubs,” he wrote on his Instagram. “Fitness and healthy living are a key part of my music and life, which is why I want to encourage you to leave your comfort zone and get fit!”
The club will focus on functional fitness: yoga, stretching, and HIIT style workouts. Think Crossfit with some added flourishes. Take for example, McGraw’s daily routine that he shared inn a recent interview with Men’s Health:
We start in the morning, and I always start all of my workouts with a 30-minute walk on the treadmill just to get everything loosened up and flowing. Then we’ll do some stretching and stuff. Typically in the mornings it’s more of active yoga and bodyweights. Then we go in and run stairs in the arena.
We do a big CrossFit training session in the afternoon that usually goes from an hour to an hour and a half. It depends on how everybody holds up. It starts with 10 or 15 people; it ends with four or five sometimes. That’s our afternoon workout. Then we go get showered up and have dinner, and get ready to do a show.
Basically, work out all day then do a show. If you follow that regiment, I guarantee you will be in great shape.
