Lanco travel the world in their new music video for “Born to Love You.” A soaring ballad that highlights frontman Brandon Lancaster’s captivating vocals, the song’s lyrics come to life in the three-minute video as vivid backdrops flash behind the band.
While Lanco performs their new single, an ever-changing backdrop of city skyscrapers, picturesque beaches and colorful mountain tops are highlighted throughout the clip. Directed by Ramon White, these images brings the song’s lyric to life.
“I could search the world from south to north / But I’ve already found what I’m looking for / Wherever I go and whatever I do / I was born to love you, I was born to love you,” Lanco sing on the song’s sweeping chorus.
“As we continue to travel the world as a band we’ve been given a glimpse into how many people, places and cultures there are,” says lead singer and co-writer Brandon in a statement. “With that in mind, we wanted a music video that emphasized the idea in this song of just how amazing it is that out of all those places and people, two people can come together and find love.”
Brandon penned “Born to Love You” with Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley, and Josh Osborne. It is the second single on the band’s debut album, Hallelujah Nights, released earlier this year. “Born to Love You” follows the success of Lanco’s debut single and first No. 1 hit, “Greatest Love Story.”
The band has spent the majority of their summer on the road with Dierks Bentley for his 2018 Mountain High Tour with Brothers Osborne. They’ll also join Dierks for his Seven Peaks music festival in Colorado later this month. The festival will be held Aug. 31 – Sept. 2 in Buena Vista, CO, and features Dierks, Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, and Dan + Shay, among others.
