The 90th annual Academy Awards (AKA, the Oscars) just took place and as usual, the red carpet was filled with looks that deserve awards of their own. From Nicole Kidman looking like an actual collectors-edition Barbie to Rita Moreno wearing the exact gown she wore to the 1962 Oscars, the red carpet did not disappoint this year. Here are some of our favorite looks from the big night.
Nicole Kidman
As usual, Nicole Kidman looked stunning on the red carpet, wearing a royal blue Armani Prive gown, Harry Winston jewelry and Christian Louboutin shoes. She opted for a simple hairstyle to let her dramatic gown take centerstage. Or, centercarpet, I suppose.

This was Allison Janey’s first time to attend the Oscars, and she took home the win for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in “I, Tonya.”

Rita Moreno
Some viewers might’ve found Rita Moreno’s to feel a little outdated, but that’s only because it’s the EXACT gown she wore to the 1962 Oscars.

Jennifer Lawrence
Was this Jennifer Lawrence or her drunk alter ego Gail? Either way, she looked pretty much flawless in her gold Dior gown. Also, I’m here for Jennifer Lawrence as a blonde.

Saoirse Ronan
“Lady Bird” star Saoirse Ronan is one of my favorite new actresses to come on the scene. She looked as sweet as ever in this baby pink Calvin Klein gown with matching Christian Louboutin shoes. Also, I’d assume it only took about 5 minutes to do her hair.

Tiffany Haddish (and Maya Rudolph)
Okay, not technically on the red carpet, but this is worth calling out. Tiffany Haddish bought this white gown for the premiere of her movie “Girls Trip,” then wore it for her monologue on Saturday Night Live, saying that she was going to wear it several times because she spent so much money on it.
“I wore it on the red carpet for ‘Girls Trip’ and my whole team, they told me, ‘Tiffany, you cannot wear that dress on ‘SNL.’ You already wore it. It’s taboo to wear it twice,’ ” she said on “Saturday Night Live.” “And I said, ‘I don’t give a dang about no taboo’ I feel like I should be able to wear what I want, when I want, however many times I want,” Haddish said on SNL. “As long as I Febreze it.”
