As we near the end of 2016, it’s only fitting that One Country shares a few of those classic, end of the year lists. Like you, we are kind of bored with the typical end of the year lists, so we’re putting our own spin on a few!

It’s no secret that Ellen DeGeneres is one of the funniest people on the planet.

Daily, she provides fans with funny segments and laugh-out-loud moments, which is unarguably what she’s best known for. But, let’s not forget that she also plays a huge role in blessing people and sharing uplifting messages.

Basically, she’s the queen and she brought us a whole lot of awesome moments this year.

15 Best “Ellen Show” Moments of 2016:

1. Leo‘s Bad Luck

I don’t think a segment on “Ellen” has ever made me laugh harder. What made this so great was seeing a man who is known for his dramatic, serious movie roles tell humorous stories about his “bad luck.”

The best part had to be when he gave a ridiculous impression of a Southern flight attendant.

2. Ellen and Britney Spears‘ Mall Mischief

In one of her most brilliant segments yet, Ellen took Britney Spears to a mall where they brought havoc and complete destruction to the shops, employees and fellow-shoppers.

I’ve watched this video dozens on times, and I still cry-laugh every time.

3. Ellen and First Lady Michelle Obama Go to CVS

In preparation for life outside the White House, Ellen DeGeneres took First Lady Michelle Obama to a local CVS in order to reteach her how to shop for herself.

Much like Ellen and Britney’s trip to the mall, the entire outing turned into a havoc-filled, chaotic mess — but it was incredibly funny. And, Michelle was super cool about the whole thing.

4. 4-Year-Old “Juju on That Beat Dancer”

Ellen featured this pint-sized dancer busting a move to “JuJu On That Beat” — and it’s obviously one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I’m not entirely sure if he understood just how popular his viral video had gone, but he certainly knew what to do when the beat dropped.

5. Brielle’s Biology Lesson

Ellen has a lot of cute kids on her show, but Brielle has to be the cutest. Not only is she incredibly adorable and easy to talk to, but she’s super smart.

Like, she’s only four and already knows all the elements on the periodic table, all of the planets and is in the process of learning about the human body.

I’m obsessed.

6. Andy and Ariana Grande‘s Haunted House Adventure

In celebration of Halloween, Ellen sent Ariana Grande and her producer Andy to the “American Horror Story” themed haunted house at Universal Studios.

Now, if you’re not familiar with Andy, he’s an absolute scaredy cat, and for years now, Ellen’s been sending him to haunted houses — for her own amusement, of course.

It’s literally something I look forward to all year long.

7. Never Have I Ever with Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg and Anna Kendrick

Once, Ellen had Martha, Snoop and Anna Kendrick on her show to play “Never Have I Ever” — it was awesome.

8. Oh, Snap(chat)!

In her most relatable segment yet, Ellen simply played with Snapchat filters while on-air. I love this one because how effortlessly funny and witty she is.

9. Ellen and Tom Hanks Have a Pixar-Off!

Once, when Tom Hanks was on the show, he challenged Ellen to a game of, what he called, “Pixar-Off.”

During the impromptu game, the two launched into character voices from both “Toy Story” and “Finding Dory,” and it was magical — and hilarious.

10. Celine Dion Raps

Celine Dion is the only person in the world that could turn “Hot In Herre,” “Shots” and “Work Bitch” into beautiful, majestic ballads.

11. Carrie Underwood‘s Celebratory Scare!

All celebrity scares are awesome, but Carrie Underwood’s will go down in history.

12. Garth Brooks Talks Touring and His New Song

Garth Brooks said, “Spoonin’ leads to forkin’.” That’s all I need to say.

13. An Orlando Shooting Survivor’s Inspiring Story

During a very moving segment on “Ellen,” an Orlando shooting survivor Tony Marrero got the surprise of a lifetime when pop icon Katy Perry joined him on stage.

I cried, a lot.

14. Ellen Meets the School Bus Driver Who Saved 20 Kids’ Lives

Ellen gave this heroic bus driver the recognition she deserved — it was the sweetest.

15. A Blind and Deaf Teen Who’s Defying the Odds

A blind a deaf teen came on “The Ellen Show” to share his story of defying the odds and to encourage others to do the same. It was tear-jerking and incredibly inspirational.
