Good news for “Carpool Karaoke” fans!

It has been announced that host James Corden will be launching an extended version of the popular segment exclusively on Apple Music.

Supposedly, there will 16 half-hour episodes that will feature guests like John Legend, Alicia Keys, Michael Strahan, Jeff Gordon, Seth MacFarlane, Ariana Grande and Billy Eichner.

“We’re really excited about the pairings that we’re putting together,” James told Variety.

Me too.

But, fans should note that the Apple Music series will be slightly different than the original.

This time, James won’t be hosting each segment. Instead, each episode will pair up a celebrity host with a celebrity guest. For example, actor Seth MacFarlane will be paired with singer Ariana Grande.

Reportedly, the idea came about because of the influx of non-musical celebrities who wanted to participate.

“We wouldn’t do Will Smith on [‘Late Late Show’],” co-executive producer Ben Winston said. “So many people have been getting in touch with us, big movie stars, and we’re like, ‘that’s not really for us,’ but here with Apple Music it’s perfect.”

Hey, whatever happens, one thing’s for sure — it’s going to be awesome.
