HBO has released a trailer for their upcoming documentary, “Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.”

The film, which follows the mother-daughter duo and their lives in Hollywood, was originally set to premiere in March, but with the unexpected deaths of both women, HBO has moved the premiere date to January 7.

The sweet trailer shows Carrie and Debbie, who lived next door to each other, arguing about cell phones, joking about memory loss and reminiscing on the old days. It also takes a look back at Carrie and brother Todd‘s childhood and touches on Carrie’s longtime struggle with depression.

“It’s a love story,” HBO Documentary Films president Sheila Nevins told Variety. “Carrie wanted to make ‘Bright Lights’ for Debbie and Debbie wanted to make it for Carrie.”

Though the timing of it all is crazy and almost unbelievable, I think fans everywhere will be happy to have one final moment with the two talents.
