The cast of “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” has been on a relentless road trip over the past few weeks promoting their new movie. Because it’s 2017, no interview can be just an interview. They have to make celebrities play games, perform tricks or do something viral. Chris Pratt more than anyone.
He has had to do some funky things while promoting his movie, but this one is the funniest. BBC 1 radio asked Pratt to make a prank call on their segment “Alphabeticall.” But this is no normal “Is your refrigerator running” prank call– Pratt had to start every sentence with the next letter in the alphabet. On top of that, he had to pretend to be a pet owner who had just bought Baby Groot.
The game looks surprisingly difficult, but Pratt pulled it off. I don’t think I could have done it so well.
If you liked that call, you should check out one from the archives with Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake. They struggle more with the game, but don’t have that old-Scottish-stick-bug-owner vibe Pratt brought to the call.
