Garth Books is taking the entertainment bull by the horns and diversifying his repertoire. The recent CMA Entertainer of the Year filled in for Michael Strahan as a co-host on “Good Morning America” where he got to chat with acting legend Denzel Washington about his new movie, “Roman J. Israel, Esq.” To say that Garth like the movie is a huge understatement. He called it “prefect.”

“The conversation my wife and I had after – I hope everyone has that same conversation.”

When pressed to elaborate on what the conversation was, Garth said, “Just us believing that we understand each other when the truth is we don’t have a clue. I don’t have a clue what goes on in your life, you don’t have a clue what goes on in mine, but we make all of our arguments based on the fact that we [think we] do. And the tolerance that it speaks of and the forgiveness– the second to think before you strike back is everything for me in the movie.”

He went on to suggest everyone sees it five times a day. It really struck a chord with him.

“Roman J. Israel, Esq.” is now showing across the nation.
