Ole Miss football (or any SEC football outside of Alabama), is a lackluster this year, which means it’s time for the smaller sports to step up and get fan bases excited again. Ole Miss junior Braden Thornberry, the reigning NCAA men’s golf individual champion and a member of last month’s victorious U.S. Walker Cup squad (he is very good) answered the call, nailing a field goal off of his chipping wedge.
He affectionately calls this new pseudo-sport folf.
The Golf Channel made a parody 30 for 30 documentary about it. As a Razorback fan, I’m in for any sport to distract me from this season.
