Great news for Guy Fieri fans! The Food Network star has a new show airing on November 5, and it’s being called his “biggest project yet.”

The new series, appropriately named “Guy’s Big Project,” will showcase Guy and his team of production partners and chefs as they hit the road in search of a great chef to host a new Food Network show. But here’s the catch: Contestants have to pitch their own show idea and prove their concept to earn it.

According to Food Network, the competition will begin with finalists picking a restaurant that best represents their show idea. They have to film a 30-second video pitch to convey what their show would be about, then they have to make a meal that embodies that idea.

As the show progresses, the contestants are eliminated through different challenges and, on the finale, the remaining prospects have to shoot a pilot episode that goes to the network and, immediately following the airing of the finale episode, viewers will find out who wins.

The show airs on Sunday, November 5 at 9/8c, and we can’t wait to see it in action!
