Today we celebrate the man, the myth, the gambler– Kenny Rogers and all that he has accomplished in his life. Kenny Rogers turns 76 today, and with more than 3/4ths of a century under his belt, he has a lot to show for it.

Born in Houston, Texas in 1938 he started his music career in a Rockabilly band in the ’50s. After the band broke up, Rogers joined a couple of other groups, including a jazz band and collaborated with various artists and producers on their work. His solo career boasts 60 Top 40 hits, including 25 No. 1s. His works have been featured in television and film throughout the past couple of decades.

We’re going to celebrate Kenny Rogers today by enjoying his biggest hits. On repeat. Happy birthday, Gambler!
