It’s been a hell of a week for Fergie, Fergalicious definition make the boys go loco, after her disastrous National Anthem performance at the NBA All-Star game. And though she’s been mocked from coast to coast, two guys– her ex-husband Josh Duhamel and son Axl, are still very much in her corner.

During an appearance on “The Ellen Show,” Duhamel took a moment to defend Fergie’s performance, saying, “I think she would probably admit that it’s not her best work. But, the girl is crazy talented. And she’s an amazing woman, an amazing human being, really. It’s hard to see someone you care about get beat up like that, but that’s this business. You’re in this business and you put yourself out there and sometimes you win and sometimes you don’t. She’s fine. She’s about as resilient as they come.”

Duhamel’s not wrong– Fergie is talented and she did hit all of the notes she intended to hit.

Earlier this week, Duhamel also posted some encouragement for Fergie on Instagram with a quote from their son, Axl. And according to TMZ, Duhamel also dropped off flowers.
