All week, through some super cool mini house concerts, pop sensation Kelly Clarkson has been hinting at some “big, exciting” news. And today, she finally let us in on her highly anticipated secret.

Through a video via Facebook Live, Kelly announced that after 15 years with RCA Records, she will be moving into a partnership with Atlantic Records.

“This is super exciting for me as an artist because, as you know, I came from ‘Idol,’ which was awesome, but it was kind of an arranged marriage, you know, after getting into the industry and, while it was awesome sometimes, sometimes it was rough, but RCA and I we had such an awesome, I think, 15 years,” she said. “Anyway, but I have to announce today that it was my first time, in my career, 15 years later… That I actually got to pick who I got to work with, and I was very excited to see who wanted to work with me. And, let me tell you, Atlantic Records, from the beginning, was overwhelmingly inspired by me and excited to work with me… And I’m so excited because they want to make the album I’ve been dying to make since I was a kid.”

With the label transition, the 34-year-old promises a new “soulful” record, come 2017. We’re literally already counting down the days.
