I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting for this day ever since the soulful, wildly talented Jordan Smith was announced as the season nine winner of “The Voice.”
THe 22-year-old talent has finally released a single called “Stand In The Light” and it is, unsurprisingly, awesome. A song about being who you truly are and living the life you want to live, this track is uplifting and incredibly inspiring.
“[This song] is my own story set to music,” he told People. “It was a joy to work alongside Stephan Moccio to bring such a beautiful song with such an important, powerful message to life. My only hope is that it will inspire and encourage my fans as much as it inspires me each time I sing it.”
And it does. The words, the musicality, the passion — this song has it all.
Bravo, Jordan, bravo.
