Chip and Joanna Gaines announced in 2017 that season 5 of their hit show “Fixer Upper” would be their last, and fans were (and still are) in distress over it– but “Property Brothers” Drew and Jonathan Scott aren’t going anywhere anytime soon, and they just signed a contract to confirm it.

According to Scripps, the Scott brothers have just signed an exclusive, multi-year deal to remain with HGTV. They’ll continue starring in their several “Property Brothers” spinoff shows, and they’ll begin producing more content for HGTV under their Scott Brothers Entertainment entity.

“Jonathan and Drew are the epitome of innovative, multi-talented television stars and they inspire audiences no matter the vehicle, no matter the platform,” said Allison Page, General Manager, U.S. Programming and Development, Scripps Networks Interactive. “We have big ideas in development at HGTV and there’s no way we would want to continue our creative journey without the Scott brothers.”

“We’re beyond excited to continue the relationship with our incredibly talented friends at HGTV,” said Drew.

“We truly love what we do, and promise that even though we have a ridiculous amount of fun…we’ll actually get a little work done, too, and continue helping families through our shows,” added Jonathan.

The Scott Brothers just made HGTV history as being the first people to appear on the cover of HGTV Magazine.
