You thought the first you met Adam Levine was around 2002 when Maroon 5’s debut album, Songs About Jane, dropped and its lead single, “Harder to Breathe” couldn’t escape you.
Adam and his band appeared on “Beverly Hills, 90210” as an act at the Peach Pit After Dark. On the show, the band was still going by Kara’s Flowers and were pretty Cali-emo, with a preppy vibe. They didn’t become Maroon 5 until 2001.
Kara’s Flowers played the song, “Soap Disco” on the show and even got to release a video of the song.
Since this monumental appearance on one television’s greatest TV shows, Maroon 5 has gone on to sell more than 20 million albums worldwide and can claim three GRAMMYs. And of course, Adam is one-half of our favorite bromance on NBC’s “The Voice.”
