Country music superstar Blake Shelton is celebrating the 13th anniversary of his debut album, Blake Shelton.

Released on July 31, 2001, through Giant Records, the album was certified gold and produced various Billboard hits, including some old favorites like “Austin” and “Ol’ Red.”

His first single, “Austin,” spent five weeks at No. 1 and is still Blake’s longest-lasting number one hit.

Here a couple of our favorite videos of a young, long-haired Blake from his early days:

Not only is Blake still cranking out the hits 13 years later, he’s gotten better looking, added a superstar wife to his resume in Miranda Lambert and entertains us through his Twitter feed almost daily.

So, happy 13th anniversary to Blake and his country music career!
