So, this might not be the way we’d tell a story, but for humor’s sake– we kind of like it. We laughed and we learned a little bit, too!

Who knew that Kris Kristofferson flew a helicopter into Johnny Cash‘s yard to get his attention? Not us!

(Again, we don’t think you should get drunk to tell a story, but it is an interesting premise for a TV show.)

“Sunday Morning Coming Down” was written by Kristofferson and recorded first, by Ray Stevens, then Kristofferson. Later, Cash’s recording won the Country Music Association Award for Song of the Year in 1970 and hit No. 1 on the country charts.
