Martha Stewart’s Easy Sausage Cheddar Ball Recipe:


  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 lb. breakfast sausage
  • 3 tbsp. butter, unsalted and melted
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, grated
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Whisk together flour, salt, pepper, cayenne, and baking powder in a large bowl, then add in the cheddar and toss to coat. Add in raw sausage, onion, and butter and use your hands to mix it all together. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them about a 1/2 inch apart from each other on a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the balls are golden and baked through.
