Overnight Slow Cooker French Toast Recipe That Will Make Breakfast a Breeze

That’s why I love overnight recipes– meals you can start making the night before so they’re ready right when you wake up! This slow cooker french toast recipe will be a favorite with your family! Give it a try over the holidays or for your next brunch!

Overnight Slow Cooker French Toast Recipe:


  • Loaf of bread (about 12 slices)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 2 cups milk or cram
  • 1 tsp. vanila bean paste
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • Butter
  • Bacon (optional but recommended!!)
  • Syrup for serving


Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl until well combined. Grease your slow cooker with butter, then layer the bread in. Pour the milk/egg mixture over the bread until it’s almost completely covered. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, then serve with syrup and bacon!
