Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays that people either love or hate. It can act as a friendly reminder to show your special someone how much you love them or, if you’re single, it can be a depressing reminder of that too.

But no matter what your relationship status, there’s one thing, other than chocolate, that we all can enjoy about the holiday — pretty and delicious drinks. If that sounds like your cup of tea — I mean, champagne — then you’ve come to the right place.

6 Valentine’s Day Cocktails You’ll Swoon Over:

1. Hearts Day Martini

  • 9 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1 ½ ounces Malibu rum
  • 1 ½ ounces vodka (citrus vodka adds a nice flavor)
  • 1 ½ ounces peach schnapps
  • honey for garnish
  • sugar for garnish
  • strawberries for garnish

Directions: In a cocktail shaker with ice, mix together cranberry juice, rum, vodka, and peach schnapps. Coat the rims of your martini glasses with honey, then dip in sugar to add a pretty and tasty touch. Pour martini mixture into glasses and garnish with strawberries.

2. Chocolate Cherry Delight

  • 6 ounces chocolate almond milk (dark chocolate is amazing)
  • 4 ounces cherry juice
  • 3 ounces vodka
  • honey for garnish
  • dark chocolate sprinkles for garnish

Directions: Coat rims of martini glasses in honey, then dip in chocolate sprinkles. In a cocktail shaker with ice, shake together milk, cherry juice, and vodka. Pour into glasses and top with any leftover sprinkles.

3. Cupid’s Mimosa

  • 8 raspberries
  • 2 ounces pomegranate juice
  • champagne

Directions: In each of the 2 champagne flutes, add 4 raspberries and 1 ounce of pomegranate juice. Top off the glasses with champagne and enjoy!

4. Rose Sweetheart

  • 6 ounces vodka
  • 6 tablespoons blackberry preserves
  • 1 ½ ounces fresh lemon juice
  • ½ bottle rose champagne
  • fresh blackberries (for garnish)

Directions: In a pitcher with ice, add vodka, preserves, and lemon juice, and stir for about 30 seconds. Then stir in champagne. Pour mixture into champagne glasses and top with blackberries. So simple yet so good!

5. Raspberry Pomegranate Dream

  • 2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 4 tablespoons pomegranate juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • lime twists for garnish

Directions: In a chilled cocktail shaker with ice, add raspberries, vodka, lime juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup, and shake until combined. Strain liquid into glasses and garnish with lime twists.

6. Valentine’s Day Margarita

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ¾ cup tequila
  • ¾ cup champagne
  • ¼ cup triple sec
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • lime wedges for garnish
  • sea salt for garnish

Directions: In a food processor or blender, puree strawberries until mixture is smooth. In a chilled cocktail shaker, mix together strawberry mixture, tequila, champagne, triple sec, and lime juice until combined. Drag lime wedges around the rims of your glasses, and then coat rims in sea salt. Fill glasses with ice and pour in margarita mixture. Your taste buds will thank you!
