Friendship is one of the most underrated yet vitally important relationships we have in our lifetime. If you think back to any part of your life, whether good or bad, it’s always affected by the friends you had at the time. There’s nothing quite like knowing you’ve found a friend for life. Here’s how you can tell.

9 Signs You’ve Found A Friend For Life:

1. It’s just assumed that they’ll be (or they were) your bridesmaid.

This fact comes to no surprise to anyone.

2. They’ll come visit you, no matter where in the world you’re living.

There’s no better excuse for a little vacation, right?

3. They genuinely care about what you’re going through and don’t just want to talk about themselves.

Yes, they’ll find that random thing your dad said a week ago funny, even though it has nothing to do with them whatsoever.

4. You can text them more than twice in a row without feeling like you’re being annoying.

By this I mean you can practically write them a book and it’s not considered out of the ordinary at all. And if they don’t reply for a couple of hours, you know it’s actually because they’re busy, not because they’re “busy.”

5. They know too much, so they’re kind of stuck with you forever.

If they’ve experienced your rough night out or embarrassing moment in elementary school, they better believe you’re not letting them go anywhere.

6. They know your password to all of your social media accounts and you know they’d never use it against you.

Although they jokingly use this fact to their advantage as often as possible.

7. It’s not work to keep in touch with them– it’s just a part of everyday life.

Texting them is like talking to your mom or significant other– it’s just a given.

8. You’d trust them with an important task without any fear or hesitation.

Let’s be real, they’d probably hide the body with you.

9. You’re not afraid to be honest with one another.

You know giving an honest opinion on their outfit won’t hurt any feelings, and you definitely can call them out on their crap. They can do the same for you.
