Stupidly Delicious (and Super Easy) Apple Pie Bake Recipe

What’s better than sweet cinnamon and sugar, melted butter, soft apples and cinnamon rolls? Nothing. The answer is nothing.

Bursting the familiar flavor of fresh-baked cinnamon rolls, the sweetness of brown sugar and the tartness of granny smith apples, this apple pie bake is straight out of the very best of our dessert dreams,

And it’s healthy because it contains apples… Right?

Apple Pie Bake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs cinnamon roll dough with icing
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 granny smith apples, diced
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • optional: vanilla ice cream
Directions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Open the cinnamon roll dough and cut into three even strips. Then, cut the strips in three pieces — you should have nine pieces total, per cinnamon roll.
  3. Set the icing aside.
  4. Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  5. Heat butter, apples and brown sugar in a pan over medium heat until sugar starts to caramelize. This should take about 10 minutes. Once the sugar is caramelized, remove the mixture from the heat.
  6. Pour the cinnamon roll dough pieces in a 9×9 baking tray and spread evenly.
  7. Pour the egg mixture on top and then, the apples.
  8. Drizzle the cinnamon roll icing on top.
  9. Bake for approximately 25–30 minutes, or until the bake is golden brown.
  10. Cut, top with ice cream and enjoy!
