Best and Worst Dressed at SEC Media Days

As we get closer and closer to college football kicking off and the end of SEC Media Days, it’s important to look at the season ahead and evaluate your team on how well they dress. Only one team can be crowned the national champion at the end of the season, but everyone can look good.

Best and Worst Dressed at SEC Media Days:

Most Likely to Be Ushering at Church Later: Florida

I think it’s Jim McElwain’s haircut, but these four look like they’re heading to take up a love offering.

Worst Yellow Shoes: Missouri

There’s matching and then there’s throwing on a pair of yellow sneakers to bring out your Nike Dri-Fit polo. At least Gary Pinkel stuck with his basic black loafers.

Most Over-Dressed for the Occasion: South Carolina

When the Head Ball Coach tells you to look sharp for lunch– he means it. Even if he’s treating you to a 5 for $5 at Arby’s.

Dressed Most Like an Actual Media Crew: Tennessee

All of the elements are there– the basics, the one stand out and the great haircut.

Most Head Coach Approved: Alabama

On the field Alabama is a pretty flashy team, so you’d expect the same off the field. Looks like Nick Saban picked out everyone’s outfits this year because he’s wearing his favorite suit and his boys look fairly basic.

Dressed Most Like the Secret Service: Georgia

Even pose leads me to believe these guys are agents of some sort.

Mark Richt and the dawgs have landed and will be taking the podium in about 45 minutes! #GoDawgs #SECMD15

Worst Dressed: Texas A&M

The private plane is there, the effort is not. One can only assume the JC Penney in College Station isn’t open during the summer.

Most Likely to Dress in School Colors, But Didn’t: LSU

LSU boasts the brightest colors in the SEC and these guys barely attempted to show ’em off. The khaki safari jacket with the bright red pants is a nice touch. If you’re going on a Hog hunt– and they are.

Best Use of the Private Plane: Mississippi State

After seeing this photo, one thing is for sure– not enough football teams pose with the nose of the university-funded private plane! These three Bulldogs looked pretty dapper, too. And when you have the football jerseys that they do, you have to make up for it somewhere.

Best Use of a Color Palette: Auburn

Forget the sweater vests! These Tigers showed up in style with hints of navy and orange throughout. And no SEC coach looks more like an accomplished insurance agent than Gus Malzahn. Well done, team.

Best of a Jos. A. Bank Sale: Kentucky

Most Dressed like Ole Miss: Ole Miss

It’s all about the bow ties for gents of Ole Miss.

Best Dressed/ Most Likely to Be Groomsmen Later: Arkansas

Dressing alike has never looked so fresh. And yes, Bret Bielema wore Nike Air Force 1s with his suit. Be uncommon in your shoe game, not your suit game.
