Once you have the simple syrup done, it’s super easy to make, and a beautiful addition to any evening with friends. Enjoy!

For the Blackberry Simple Syrup:

  • 12 oz. fresh blackberries
  • ½ cup sugar

For the Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade:

  • 7.5 oz. whiskey
  • 7.5 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 large rosemary sprig
  • 6 oz. blackberry simple syrup

Simple Syrup:

Place blackberries and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, then cook for 20-30 minutes until berries are soft and you have a thick syrup.

Strain syrup to get rid of seeds, and discard the pulp. Let cool before you make the drinks.

Combine everything in a large shaker with a few ice cubes. Shake, then serve.
