Cauliflower isn’t exactly everyone’s favorite vegetable. Frequently relegated to the back of the fridge, the last resort of meals, and the back of our preferences, cauliflower is just kind of…cauliflower. It’s notorious for being tasteless, but we might have found a way to change that forever.

Enter this honey garlic baked cauliflower. This stuff is to die for, especially if you’re a Sriracha fan. Honey layered with garlic, a little bit of soy sauce, and some Sriracha sauce makes this a dish you might be licking the bowl for. Yes, it’s that good. Try it. You won’t regret it.

  • 1 small head of cauliflower, cut into bite sized florets
  • 2 cups panko bread crumbs (Kikkoman brand preferred for even baking)
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
For Sauce:
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 6 tbsp water with 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
Preheat oven to 400F. Dip cauliflower pieces in egg and roll in panko until fully coated.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until coating is a dark golden brown and crunchy.
While the cauliflower is cooking, make sauce on the stove. Add all ingredients except the cornstarch and water. Bring to a simmer and stir until completely mixed.
In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water, then add to the mixture. Stir until sauce reaches a low boil again and cook for about 2 minutes until sauce thickens. Toss cauliflower in sauce. Serve and enjoy.
