Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala Is A Flavorful And Easy Dish You’ll Want To Keep Making


Chicken marsala is a dish often made stove-side, in order to get the sauces to blend into something creamy and irresistible. Fortunately, this can be done in the crockpot too, and it’s super easy. Simply dump everything in, go to work, and come home to creamy and flavorful sauce. Try it out.


  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sweet marsala cooking wine or chicken broth
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • fresh parsley, roughly chopped
Combine all ingredients, seasoning chicken with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 to 6 hours on low. When finished, take out chicken, whisk together cornstarch and water, pour into slow cooker, and stir. Add chicken again and cook on high heat for 20 to 30 minutes or until sauce is thick. Serve with parsley and enjoy.
