Puffer Jackets For Dogs ‘Accustomed To Luxury’ Exist And They Cost $450

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about spoiling my dog, probably more than is actually socially acceptable. But the Italian brand, Moncler, made a puffer jacket for dogs that will “keep your pooch toasty (and trendy) this winter,” and it costs a whopping $450. Yes, you read that correctly. 450 VERY REAL dollars.

Even more astonishing is that the jacket is currently SOLD OUT.

The vibrant line of jackets, coined ‘mondog,’ draws from the company’s popular puffer coats for women and men– they’re just scaled down to size for pups.

“The collection is designed to allow our four-legged friends to follow us to the harshest climates, staying warm and protected without limiting their movement in any way,” the company said in a statement.

While I typically find most dog items to be really cute and totally necessary, I’ve never even spent $450 on an article of clothing for myself, let alone for my dog. Also, don’t dogs have a BUILT IN jacket already called FUR? Seriously, I think I could probably craft a puffer vest out of all of the dog hair currently in my house. Not even kidding. Maybe I could sell THAT for $450?
