One of the best parts of the holidays is not only basking in all there is to come, but all the memories that have made up the past. And often, it’s the ornaments on one’s Christmas tree that conjures up the most emotion!
Joanna Gaines did just that recently when she shared some of her family’s most precious ornaments hanging from her family’s 13-foot tree. In her Instagram stories, Gaines couldn’t help but gush over the ornaments on her tree, many of which included photos of her and her hubby Chip’s children through the years.
One of the ornaments was from son Duke, who is 9 years old now. “Favorite ornament ever,” she wrote on the pic of the ornament with Duke’s face and an elf body.
Of course, she soon realized that she couldn’t pick a favorite ornament. We mean, what mom could? Gaines quickly shared other ornaments she loved including one of her daughter Emmie Kay sitting in a rocking chair when she was younger.
Indeed, this looks to be quite a Christmas season for the family, who will be spending it with their baby son, Crew.
