Well y’all, it’s officially happened. Chip and Joanna Gaines are officially done with their hit HGTV show, “Fixer Upper.”
The series finale went just like every other “Fixer Upper” episode has– no surprises, no big announcements, just a regular, classic, tried-and-true episode. Well, with the exception of Chip’s new tattoo sleeves, of course.
Chip and Joanna renovated a house for punk rocker Mike Herrera and his wife, Holli, who were moving to Waco from Washington State. While the house was gorgeous, fans were, of course, more focused on the fact that this was the very last episode ever, and they had some emotions about it.
1. “What the shiplap?” might be my new favorite phrase ever.
@chipgaines what in the #shiplap am I supposed to watch now?! Seriously though, wishing you and your family all the best! Thanks for an amazing show that has offered so much inspiration to so many people! #FixerUpper

3. Better make sure that ice cream has toppings, Jeff.
@joannagaines @chipgaines #FixerUpper my wife is in total break down mode. I anticipate re-runs and ice cream for 2 weeks straight. @AP51082 and it's only been 12 hrs since the final show.
