With spring in full fling, life can get pretty crazy. Between yard work and spring cleaning and driving the kids around to all their activities, you may forget to take some time for yourself to relax. And what better way to do that than with a refreshing tastes-like-springtime cocktail… or three!

6 Tasty Cocktails to Spruce Up Your Spring:

1. Mixed Berry Mule

4 blackberries

1 ounce raspberry vodka

½ tablespoon lime juice

Ginger beer

Lime wedge for garnish

Add blackberries to a rocks glass and muddle, or smash, to your desired texture, then add ice. In a cocktail shaker, shake ice, vodka, and lime juice together until well combined. Strain into prepared glass then add ginger beer to fill. Garnish with a lime wedge and start sippin’!

2. Fizzy Limoncello Sangria

Mango chunks, pineapple chunks, and strawberries

1 (750-ml) bottle champagne

Prepare some glasses with ice. In a pitcher, add fruit. Stir in champagne, limoncello, and juice. Pour mixture into prepared glasses and serve.

3. Honeydew Margarita

Lime wedge for garnish

Kosher salt for garnish

1 cup honeydew melon, roughly chopped

¼ cup tequila

1½ tablespoons lime juice

¾ tablespoon triple sec

½-¾ teaspoon simple syrup (depending on taste)

On a small plate, add salt. Wipe lime wedge around rim of margarita glass, dip rim in salt to coat, then add ice to glass. Set aside. In a food processor or blender, puree melon until smooth, then pour into a cocktail shaker. Add in ice, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup, and shake well. Strain mixture into prepared glass and garnish with lime wedge.

4. Tropical Rum Punch

3 parts pineapple juice

3 parts ginger ale

1 part Malibu rum

Pineapple chunks for garnish

Add ice to a glass. Pour in pineapple juice, ginger ale, and rum, and stir well. Garnish with pineapple chunks.

5. Peachy Arnold Palmer

Peach slices for garnish

1 ounce iced tea

1 ounce lemonade

1 ounce bourbon whiskey

½ ounce peach schnapps

1 teaspoon simple syrup

In a rocks glass, add ice and peach slices. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, iced tea, lemonade, bourbon, peach schnapps, and simple syrup, and shake well. Strain into prepared glass. Enjoy!

6. Blackberry Lime Champagne Spritzer

⅓ cup blackberries

⅓ cup sugar

⅓ cup water

Juice of 1 lime

1 (750-ml) bottle champagne

Blackberries for garnish

Lime wedges for garnish

For the blackberry simple syrup, in a small saucepan, bring blackberries, sugar, and water to a boil. Then turn heat to low and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain mixture then set aside to cool. Once cool, add 1½ tablespoons of the blackberry syrup and a splash or two of lime juice to each champagne flute. Top with champagne and garnish with blackberries and lime wedges.
