“The Bachelor” Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph Go Out On Their Official First Date

Now that the current season of The Bachelor is through, Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph can now begin their life away from the constant cameras.

But that doesn’t mean some sneaky cameras missed their official first date!

After a slew of media appearances this week surrounding The Bachelor finale, Underwood and Randolph set off on a night out on the town Thursday (March 14.) And on this particular night, the two decided to catch a performance of Frozen the Musical.

“Date night on Broadway,” a tweet from the Broadway play read alongside a video of the couple coming on stage after the show. “Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph spent their first official date with us tonight.”

“Congrats to the happy couple,” another tweet read. “Thanks for spending your first official date with us on Broadway!

Indeed, the two lovebirds look awfully happy these days and seem to be putting the hard days of The Bachelor behind them. In fact, Underwood recently commented on those days, saying that he can now understand why Randolph’s dad Matt didn’t give him permission to marry his daughter during the show.

“Looking back, I understand where he was coming from,” Underwood tells People magazine. “It’s like, ‘I’ve only met you for 30 minutes and had a conversation, you seem like a great guy, but I love my daughter and I know who my daughter is.’ Of course, I wanted to hear a yes, but the fact that he stood true to himself showed me all I needed to know about him as a man. I have a lot of respect for him.”
