Mike Fleiss has made a career out of finding love for other people as the creator of the popular Bachelor franchise of television shows. Yet, in real life, he seems to be having some major trouble in the love department.

On Tuesday (July 16,) a court ordered that Fleiss stay 100 yards away from his estranged wife Laura Fleiss after she accused him of verbally and physically abusing her. And yes, the worst part of it all is that she was 10 weeks pregnant at the time.

“Our son Ben was in the house, seated in another room nearby. Mike told me, ‘If you have an abortion, then we can just go back to the way we were,’” Laura claimed in court documents that were obtained by People. “Prior to July 4th, Mike threatened me that if I did not have an abortion, he would end the marriage. This was not the first time he had threatened a divorce during our marriage, but now, he was using this threat as leverage to force me to have an abortion.”

Warner Bros., which is the production company behind Fleiss’ Bachelor franchise, is said to be monitoring the allegations very closely.

“We are aware of these serious allegations, and are looking into them,” a Warner Bros. spokesperson told People.
