As the world continues to mourn the death of Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman, so do the people who knew her best, including her daughter Bonnie.
During the memorial service for Beth, held at the Heritage Christian Center on Saturday, July 13, Bonnie stood in front of family and friends to share memories of her mother.
“I’ve never imagined I would lose my mom at 20,” Bonnie said over the weekend at a memorial service in Colorado for her dear mother. “I never imagined walking down the aisle without her or her not judging my dress. I never imagined a life without her, it’s really tough now being without her.”
Luckily, the show that her mom starred in will forever give Bonnie a slew of memories to hold onto.
“I would never lose footage of my mother, there will always be another video, another episode, another clip,” said Bonnie.
Chapman’s husband Duane Chapman also tearfully took the stage at the memorial service to pay tribute to his very own partner in crime.
“I cannot believe that she’s gone,” he said during a 30-minute speech that would go back and forth between laughs and cries. “This is not possible, I want to wake up from a dream. She will never be dead to me. She is in another place. I’m gonna get to heaven and make her so proud. She’s gonna say like she said here, ‘That’s my man right there, that’s big daddy right there.’ “
Beth Chapman passed away after her long battle with throat cancer. She was 51. Beth was first diagnosed with stage II throat cancer in September 2017. After receiving surgery, Beth believed she was cancer free. She later revealed in Nov. 2018 that the cancer had returned.
