The gang is back together. 19 years after the final season of Boy Meets World, the cast reunited over the weekend at Fan Expo Boston.
Cory Matthews (Ben Savage), best friend Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), brother Eric (Will Friedle), love interest Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and teacher George Feeny (William Daniels) were together for a photo op. In a post on Instagram Will and Danielle shared photos of the gang sharing a laugh and sticking their tongues out with Mr. Feeny.
Ben Savage shared a photo on his Instagram of the 4 actors in Boston. “Boston tea party,” he wrote alongside the chummy photo.
Boy Meets World first aired on ABC in 1993 and ran for seven season until 2000. The show followed the trials and tribulations of the life of Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) as he navigated middle school, high school and college with best friend Shawn Hunter and girlfriend Topanga. The show also featured Cory’s parents, Amy Matthews (Betsy Randle) and Alan Matthews (William Russ), older brother Eric (Will Friedle) and younger sister Morgan.
The show produced a spinoff called Girl Meets World, starring Rowan Blanchard as Riley Matthews, the daughter of Cory and Topanga, and Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprising their roles. The show lasted 3 seasons from 2014-2017.
This isn’t the first time the cast has gotten back together, some of the original costars appeared on the spin off, they got together at Comic-Con in Chicago and have remained friends off screen as well.
