Pop icon Britney Spears has always been able to come alive onstage, despite whatever was going on in her personal life at the time. But those days may now be over, according to her longtime manager Larry Rudolph.
According to TMZ, Rudolph says that he doesn’t “want (Spears) to work again ’till she’s ready, physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again, it will never come again. I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.”
There is no doubt that Spears has been going through a slew of mental battles throughout the years. This year alone, she was forced to cancel her Las Vegas residency when her ‘meds stopped working,’ according to Randolph. Spears also was checked into a mental health facility soon after as she dealt with her feelings over her father Jamie’s various health battles. And while she is now out of the facility, she remains entrenched in a battle concerning her financial conservatorship.
Rudolph went on to say in the interview that Spears may never resume her Vegas residency.
“From what I have gathered, it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again,” he told TMZ.
