Britney Spears’ Sister Jamie Lynn Defends Her Against #FreeBritney Critics— “I Love My Sister With Everything I Have”

Britney Spears has been in the news lately after checking herself into a health facility to take a little “me time” for herself.  During which time, Britney postponed her new album and canceled her Britney: Domination show at the Park MGM resort in Las Vegas. However, since the “Toxic” singer checked in, rumors have been flying about the pop star’s health. And little sister Jamie Lynn Spears is not having it.

In a post on Instagram, Jamie Lynn stood up in defense of her sister and slammed the rumors and those speaking about “what you don’t understand.” She posted her message next to a video of herself walking beside Britney as they are swarmed by paparazzi. In the video, some one yells out “Nobody wants you in this neighborhood.” Jamie Lynn at the time also defends her sister by saying, “Well then move the f**k out.” Now, the younger sibling is at it again.

“10 years ago, who was there?? I have been here long before anyone else, and I’ll be here long after,” Jamie Lynn wrote.  “I love my sister with everything I have. So, anyone or anything that speaks to the contrary can GTFOH with all the comments about what you don’t understand.Do not come for me or the ones I love anymore. You can move the “blank” outta here with all that, just like this other lady who was running her mouth.👋🏻”

Jamie Lynn’s post comes on the heels of rumors that Britney is being held at the facility against her will. According to ET, the rumor started when a podcast, Britney’s Gram, said they received “an anonymous tip from a credible source” that she was in the facility against her will. The #FreeBritney hashtag has caught on and is circulating on social media.

Britney checked herself into the clinic shortly after announcing that her father had taking ill and almost died, leading her to take time to focus on family, taking a break from music.

“A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand.”
