Talk show host Wendy Williams faced her fans on Tuesday (March 19) ready to come clean. And in doing so, she taught all of us what it means to really speak our truth.

“I have been living in a sober house,” she said on the heartbreaking episode of The Wendy Williams Show. “You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past. I never went to a place to get treatment. There are people in your family, it might be you. I want you to know more of the story.”

Williams has not told this story to many, mentioning that only her husband Kevin Hunter knows what really has been going on.

“Only Kevin knows about this,” she said tearfully. “Not my parents, nobody. Nobody knew because I look so glamorous out here. I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to a home that I live in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family.”

Fans of the outspoken talk show host certainly have been concerned about her, considering that the 54-year-old has been absent from her daytime talk show periodically throughout this year.
