Music megastar Celine Dion shared a stunning picture on her Instagram page of her leaning against the wall, wearing an absolutely gorgeous pantsuit and looking as confident as ever. She looked absolutely beautiful. But then, the haters revealed themselves.

A number of her followers went to the comments section to express their concern about the superstar’s weight, implying that she looked a tad too skinny. Dion quickly responded to the criticism in a recent interview.

“I’m doing this for me,” she said during The Dan Wootton Podcast. “I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine, fierce and sexy. It’s always been a part of me. And I’m 50 years old, it’s not to try to take chances, it’s what I want to wear. I want to do whatever I choose to be. I have an opportunity to wear haute couture and the things that make me feel beautiful, strong, fearless, feminine, attractive.”

And while Dion has long been known for her sweet personality, she even sounded a tad miffed at the comments.

“If I like, I don’t want to talk about it,” she says. “They can discuss it. Don’t bother, don’t take a picture,” she said. “If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone.”

You go girl.
