Christina Hendricks and Husband Geoffrey Arend Split After 10 Years of Marriage

Actors Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend are calling it quits. The couple, who have been married for 10 years, have decided to go their separate ways.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the couple shared the news an their decision to split.

“Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities,” they wrote in a statement. “Today, we take our next step together, but on separate paths. We will always be grateful for the love we’ve shared and will always work together to raise our two beautiful dogs.”

The statement continues, “We will be taking time to rediscover ourselves in this transition and we thank you for your patience and support in giving us the space to do so.”

The couple, who recently hit the 10-year mark on Oct. 11, wed in 2009 at il Buco in New York, where Geoffrey proposed. They have no children together.

Christina is best known for her role as  Joan Holloway on the AMC’s drama Mad Men and most recently for her role as Beth Boland on NBC’s Good Girls. Geoffrey is known for his roles as Ethan Gross on ABC’s drama Body of Proof and currently as Matt Mahoney on CBS’s political drama Madam Secretary.
