“Clueless” Actress Stacey Dash Arrested for Domestic Violence


Clueless actress and political correspondent, Stacy Dash has been arrested for domestic violence.

According to TMZ, Stacey was arrested on Sunday (Sept. 30) at home in Pasco County for a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. Sources tell the website that she got into a fight with her husband, Jeffrey Marty, and allegedly hit and slapped him. After authorities arrived, they noticed scratches on Jeffrey’s arm.

The actress is in custody and being held on $500 bail.

Stacey married lawyer Jeffrey Marty  in April 2018 in Florida. This is the fourth marriage for the actress. She has two children— a daughter Lola (16)  from her first marriage to Brian Lovell, whom she married in 1999 and a son Austin from a relationship with singer Christopher Williams.

A source tells TMZ that Stacey was acting in self defense, claiming that Stacey’s husband allegedly first attempted to choke his wife, forcing her to defend herself. That’s where the scratches to his arm came in. Stacey was the person who called 911 and did’t are any marks, so therefore she was the one placed under arrest.

Stacey is best known for her role as Dionne Davenport in the 1995 hit film Clueless with Alicia Silverstone. She appeared in Sharknado: The 4th Awakens in 2016. Stacey became an outspoken Republican political correspondent, supporting Donald Trump in the 2016 election. She also writes a blog for Patheos.com.
