Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman was rushed from her Hawaii home to the hospital on Saturday (April 6) after experiencing breathing problems as a result of her continuing battle with cancer.
But for now, thankfully, she is back home with those who love her the most.
“Beth was hospitalized yesterday,” the Chapman’s family attorney told People magazine. “She’s now resting at home.”
It’s just another painful piece in what has been a roller coaster journey for Chapman, who was originally diagnosed with stage II throat cancer back in 2017.
“I don’t need to be pitied,” she told People at the time. “I didn’t surround myself with people who pity the situation. I wanted to be around people who helped me move forward.”
Her health has continued to deteriorate as of late, with Chapman having to undergo throat surgery last November to clear a blockage.
And while her and husband Duane Chapman are personally going through hell, professionally they continue to flourish. The couple will soon be featured on their new show Dog’s Most Wanted, which will once again tell the real-life story of their lives as bounty hunters.
We’re sending prayers to the entire Chapman family at this rough time.
