The Duggar family has long lived a life of faith, and they are now relying on that faith as they mourn the sudden loss of ‘Grandma” Mary Duggar at age 73.

According to a post on the family’s official Facebook page, Duggar passed away on Sunday (June 9,) noting that she was a beloved member of the 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On cast for over 15 years.

“She is greatly loved and will be missed so very much,” the post goes on to read. “She lived a tremendous life as a follower of Christ, a wife, a devoted mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a much-loved grandmother. We deeply appreciate your prayers for our family and all who loved Mary during this time.”

Indeed, many of her grandchildren were quick to head to their own social media pages to express their sadness over their grandmother’s death.

“My heart breaks,” Jill Duggar wrote on her Instagram page alongside sweet pictures of Mary. “My grandma died suddenly today! She was an amazing woman of God and such a great example to so many! Grandma, you are greatly missed by all who knew you! She was a feisty, incredible woman who always took the time to talk about Jesus with everyone she knew! I know she was ready to check outta here and get her new body in heaven before the old one started giving her too much trouble! We miss you so much!!”

We send our heartfelt condolences to all who mourn her loss.
