Elton John has spent a lifetime making people happy through his music. Yet, at a recent concert in Australia, he himself seemed anything but happy.
“Hey, you two security guards with the girls, F— off,” John could be heard yelling from the stage at a concert Sunday (Dec. 1) in Australia. “Bring her back here immediately. Come on you c—s. Morons, you both are, morons. You don’t treat girls like that. Leave her alone you turds.”

The outburst seemingly came as a result of a security guard ejecting a female fan out of the venue while John was performing. According to Billboard magazine, the “Rocket Man” hit maker later apologized to his fans in attendance for his profanity-heavy rant.
“I apologize for the ‘c-word’,” he said. “I just hate people being assaulted, especially women by security guards. I have a pet hate of security guards anyway.”
“Under the circumstances, the security team acted appropriately and we (VenuesWest and security) worked together with Elton’s team to ensure that the event was safe and successful for the artist and the patrons,” the security team later commented.
And while this rare outburst is getting some major attention at the moment, John is doing his best to ensure that his life story is told his way via his new memoir Me.
“I wanted my boys to know what I was like and what happened, so that when I’m not here, they can read the book and read the truth,” John told People magazine of writing the book for his two sons that he shares with husband David Furnish. “I just want them to understand what I was like when I went through the journey I had before I had them. How they made my life complete. How they’ve, you know, finished the circle. And that, you know, they were the last chapter in an incredible life.”
