President Donald Trump is a grandfather…again. Son Eric Trump and his wife Lara welcomed their second child, a girl, Carolina Dorothy Trump on Monday (Aug. 19).
Eric shared the news on Instagram alongside a beautiful photo of their little girl. “@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world. We love you already,” he wrote.
Lara then shared a close up of her daughter’s face with a simple caption revealing her name and date of birth. “Carolina 💗 8.19.19 💗,” she wrote.
Carolina is President Trump’s 10th grandchild and joins big brother Eric “Luke” Trump, who will be 2 in September. Eric’s big sister, Ivanka, who has 3 children, tweeted out her congratulations and shared her love for her new niece.
“We love you Lara, Eric, (big brother) Luke and sweet Carolina!,” she wrote.
Eric and Lara became engaged in 2013 and married over a year later in 2014 at at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. They welcomed their son Eric in 2017. The dad of two announced that they were expecting their second baby in a post on Instagram in April alongside a family photo.
“Lara and I are excited to announce that we will be adding another member to our family in August! Luke will be a great big brother!,” Eric wrote.
Congratulations to the Trump family.
