“The Hills: New Beginnings” Gets Premiere Date and Releases Series Promo [WATCH]


They’re baaack! The Hills cast is hitting your small screen for a continuation of the original reality series and MTV is sharing a sneak peek at the highly-anticipated new season.

Titled The Hills: New Beginnings, the show will reunite original cast members such as Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Brody Jenner, Audrina Patridge, Jason Wahler, Justin “Bobby” Brescia, Stephanie Pratt, Whitney Port and Frankie Delgado, following their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles.  The show’s main stars Lauren Conrad and Kristen Cavallari, who has her own show Very Cavallari on E!,  will not be returning to the show.

In the promo, nostalgic music plays as kids run into school and the words scroll across the screen—”Remember your first day of school. Your first kiss. Your first love. Some memories last forever…”

Just then Natasha Beddingfield’s familiar song, “Unwritten” begins to play. “Staring at the blank page before me….” she sings as images of the cast flash on screen.

“…Your first breakup. And your first time. Finding Yourself.  Now it’s time to start all over again.” The Hills:New Beginnings will premiere on MTV on June 24, just in time for Summer.

For those of you to young to remember the original, The Hills ran for six seasons, from 2006 to 2010, on MTV and followed the lives of a number of jetsetters beginning their careers in the star-studded California town. The show was a spin-off of the MTV series “Laguna Beach.”
