In case you haven’t heard, IHOP has officially changed their name (and EVERYTHING ABOUT THEMSELVES) to IHOB. After lots of speculation that the new ‘B’ stood for “breakfast,” the chain has announced that ‘B’ stands for “burgers.” Yep, it’s no longer International House of Pancakes. It’s International House of Burgers.
Of course, the Twitter world had a lot to say about the announcement and truly, no one knows what’s happening.

IHOP changing their name to International House of Burgers is like your Grandma saying from now on she's your Aunt.

not one burger on the ihob menu even pretends to be “international,” so it’s really just “hob” or maybe “thob” for “temporarily” or “throb” for “temporarily house—rebranded—of burgers”
enjoy throb

You can get a damn burger anywhere.
THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED ANOTHER MEDIOCRE BURGER CHAIN.
THE WORLD NEEDS PANCAKES. #ihob #iamdisappoint
