After regaining custody of her children earlier this week, Jenelle Evans is answering questions on her Instagram story about her marriage and family as they move forward with their lives.
The first questioner asked how things have been since the children have returned and is Jace, her oldest son, back with her as well.
Jenelle responded by writing, “Everything and everyone is doing great. We are super grateful and happy. Jace will live with us full time soon but not now,” she added.
Jace is Jenelle’s 9-year-old son from ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. Her life as a pregnant teen was documented on the MTV series Teem Mom, where she became known to the public.
The Teen Mom 2 star lost custody of her children, Kaiser and Ensley, after her current husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog after it snapped at the couple’s daughter.
Jenelle was asked if it was a hard decision to remain with her husband after that incident. To which Jenelle replied, “Honestly, yes, we were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much,” she wrote. “He knows how upset it made me.”
She continued, “Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”
While the 27-year-old is keeping up appearances, we haven’t heard the last from her. A fan asked if she would have a change to tell her side of the story and Jenelle confirmed that she will.
“Yes, I’ve been filming/documenting my experience through all of this,” Evans wrote. “I will put it together and let you guys see how my life was completely turned upside down soon.”
The young reality star has maintained that the calls to CPS and stories told about her and her family were all lies. “With everything that was presented as evidence, the judge found that CPS only had ‘hearsay.’ What CPS presented didn’t stand up to the definition of abuse or neglect. When the judge said her decision it was so ‘matter-of-fact’ tone and blunt that I was in shock but bursted out into tears immediately,” she said after regaining custody of her kids.
As a result of David’s behavior, Jenelle was also subsequently fired from “Teen Mom 2.”
