Congratulations are going out to Jenna Bush Hager and her husband Henry Hager, who welcomed their third child, a boy, Henry “Hal” Hager, into the world on Friday, Aug. 2.
The Today show co-host took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and husband holding their baby boy along with a family photo that includes grandma and grandpa, former President Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush. With the series of photos, Jenna shared the info of her baby’s birth.
“Welcome to the world my darling Henry Harold “Hal” Hager!,” Jenna wrote. “Hal came into the world Friday, August 2, 2019 at 9:02am and our life has never been sweeter. ❤️❤️👶🏼.”
She later took to social media to share the special meeting between her new son and her two daughters, Margaret (6) and Poppy (4).
“And our world made even sweeter when our girls met their baby brother,” she wrote alongside a series of photos with her children.
Jenna and Henry became engaged in 2007, after Henry asked permission for her hand in marriage from Jenna’s dad and former president of the United States, George W. Bush. The couple wed on May 10, 2008. They welcomed their daughter Margaret in 2013 and a second daughter Poppy in 2015.
Jenna revealed that she was pregnant with her third child, a boy, during her co-hosting duties of the Today show in April.
“Yes, I’m pregnant!” Jenna (37) shared. “I’m very pregnant. I don’t know how you missed this! I’ve needed 7 or 8 sports bras,” she said on the show.
Congratulations to the happy couple.
